Michael A. Haapapuro, a beloved father, grandfather and son passed away on July 14th, 2024, at age 58 in Pontiac, MI

He was born in Hancock, MI on August 18th, 1965, to Bruce Haapapuro and Carol (Perrault) Haapapuro.

Michael was devoted to his family, a proud dad and grandfather. He enjoyed the outdoors; fishing, hunting, agate picking along Lake Superior; going for long car rides and going out and spending the day with his mom Carol "bumming."

Michael was also a man who loved the Lord. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

Michael is proceeded by his father, Bruce, and his brother Steven.

He is survived by his mother Carol, daughter Brittany (Kevin) LaRoux, three grandchildren: Grayson, Elliott, and Leila; two brothers Brian (Marilyn), Kevin; and a good friend Steve.

Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins

He will be greatly missed by his nephew Kevin Haapapuro.

A visitation for Michael will be held from 3-5 pm, Sunday, July 28, 2024, along with a late lunch at Glad Tidings Assembly of God Church in Hancock.
