Obituary of Michael Allan Klemett Donken Michael "Boogoo" Klemett, 34, a resident of Donken passed away Sunday morning October 28, 2007. He was born on November 17, 1972, in Hancock, a son of Barbara (Schutz) Klemett and the late David Klemett. As a child, Mike attended the South Range Schools and graduated from Jeffers High School with the class of 1993. Mike had been a resident of Painesdale until 2004 when he moved to make his home in Donken. On September 18, 2004 he was united in marriage to the former Wendy Strack and became Papa to his two step daughters Bryana and Bailey. Mr. Klemett had worked as a mechanic for Copper Country Ford in Houghton for 13 years until 2005, he then purchased and reopened the Toivola Lunch & Convenience with his wife. Mike's main focus was on running the store and doing mechanical work in his garage. Mike enjoyed the friendship of the locals that came to visit him every morning in the store. Michael loved spending time with his family and friends, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, and four wheeling. Preceding him in death was his father: David Klemett, his sister Sherry Klemett, his maternal grandfather George Schutz, his paternal grandparents Vieno Tolonen and Martin Klemett, and an infant niece Joy Klemett. Larry VanDamme to officiate. Burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery of Winona.
