Patricia Dugener

HancockPatricia A. Dugener, 70, a resident of Hancock, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021, peacefully at the Omega House in Houghton.Patricia was born on November 8, 1951, in Hancock to the late Waino and Maila (Niemi) Tervo. She was raised in the Copper Country and attended schools locally. Patricia participated in the Special Olympics and enjoyed lunches at the Kaleva Café in Hancock. She always had a smile for everyone and will missed dearly.Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Ted Dugener, her brothers James and David Tervo, a sister, Janet Tervo and a brother-in-law, Doug Wilks.Patricia is survived by her sisters: Irene (Carl) LeFebrve of DodgevilleDebra Wilks of CalumetHer brother: Donald (Bobbi) Tervo of Star Prairie, WIHer 3 nieces and 3 nephewsHer aunts: Jean Garcia of Shreveport, LAAgnes Pyykkonen of HoughtonNumerous cousins and her best friend Diane Vassallo of Hancock. The family would like to thank all the staff at the Omega House and also the Copper County Mental Health team that took such good care of her, we greatly appreciate you.
