Obituary of Patricia Kangas Hancock Patricia A. Kangas, 68, a resident of Hancock passed away at home with her family by her side on Thursday March 31, 2011, following a lengthy illness.She was born on August 15, 1942, in Detroit, MI, a daughter of the late Carl and Antoinette (Voldarski) Laingren. As a young woman, Pat moved to make her home in Hancock.She had worked in the Housekeeping department of St. Joseph Hospital for a short time.Patricia was united in marriage to George Kangas Sr. and he preceded her in death in 1986.Mrs. Kangas was a stay at home mom who cared for her family who enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed watching games shows, sporting events, following the Detroit Tigers, making trips to the casino and spending time with her faithful companion "Missy".
