Peter D. Ciucci

South Range

Peter D. Ciucci, 89, a resident of South Range, passed away Monday, April 1, 2024, at his home following a short illness.

He was born on August 2, 1934, in Atlantic Mine, MI, a son of the late Alfred and Florence (Perfetti) Ciucci. Peter was raised in Trimountain and was a graduate of Jeffers High School.

Mr. Ciucci was a veteran having served with the United States Navy.

On June 18, 1960, he was united in marriage to the former Joan Klarich. The couple has resided in South Range since that time.

Peter enjoyed the outdoors working as a sawyer, hunting, fishing and working in his gardens.

Preceding him in death were his parents, two sisters and a brother.

His children: Joel (Kristen Lucier) Ciucci of L'Anse

Cara (Daniel) Suhonen of Hancock

His grandson: Nathan (Nicole) Lahti of Tapiola

His great-grandchildren: Trayven, Rylan, Reese, & Harrison

His sister: Delores Auger of Houghton

His brother: Louis "Skippy" Ciucci of Forest Lake, MN

A special nephew: Steven Auger of Houghton

Numerous, nieces, nephews and cousins

As requested, a private graveside service for Peter will be held later this year in Mt. View Cemetery of South Range.
