Peter Roberts

Chassell Peter William Roberts, age 66, passed away suddenly from an apparent heart attack on August 19th at his home in Chassell, MI. Peter was born to Richard and Marty Roberts on October 16, 1954, in Warroad, MN. He graduated from Warroad High School in 1972. He went on to college at Michigan Technological University and graduated 1978. He married Patty Ouellette in 1979 and together they had two daughters Catherine and Morgan.Peter was preceded in death by his parents and his brother John.Peter is survived by wife Patty, daughters Catherine (Mike) Higby of Apple Valley, CA and Morgan (Kassidy) Croswhite of Mesa, AZ. Grandkids, Izzabella and Cruz Higby and Olyvia and Lennon Croswhite. Siblings George (Gail) Roberts of Mesa, AZ. Liz Hardwick of Warroad, MN and Tom (Stacy) Roberts of Mesa, AZ and in-laws, Chuck (Bernadette) Ouellette of Dollar Bay, MI, Mary (Joe) Jones of College Grove, TN, Jeanne (Ed) Dempsey of Prince George, BC, and Catherine (Mark) Manderfield of Hancock, MI. And many cousins, nieces, and nephews.Peter was in a family business with his father and brothers for over 40 years. The past several years he ran the business with his brother Tom and daughter Catherine.An open house will be held at their residence in Chassell on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, from 4-6 pm. 45136 N. US-41 Chassell, MI 49916. In lieu of flowers please donate to the charity of your choice.
