Obituary of Ricahrd Alan Woodford Traprock Valley Richard Woodford, age 62, died Sunday, June 10, 2018. Preceding him in death were his parents, John and Ruth (Wisuri) Woodford; and a brother, David Woodford. He was born in Detroit in 1956. He married Lynn Kempeinen in 1988. He is survived by his wife, Lynn Woodford; their children, Daniel (Denise) Woodford, Heidi (Eric) Keranen, Mark Woodford, Lisa Woodford, Jim Woodford, Kate Woodford, and Abby Woodford; and grandchildren Savannah, Cameron, and Bennett Woodford, and Jack, Carl, Lars, and Ray Keranen. He is also survived by his brother, Peter (Carol) Woodford; his sisters, Barbara (Tom) Kelly, Elizabeth Woodford, Louise (Doug) Harmala, and Caroline (Paul) Schultz; mother-in-law, Martha Kempeinen; brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was a member of the First Apostolic Lutheran Church of Fulton. A graveside funeral and committal service will be held on Wednesday, June 13, at 11 am at the Chassell Cemetery with Pastor David Taivalkoski to officiate.
