Obituary of Richard Albert Bonds Hubbell Richard A. Bonds, 72, of Hubbell, passed away Thursday, January 16, 2014, at Marquette General Hospital. He was born in Hancock on February 6, 1941, son of Norbert and Bertha (Norbeck) Bonds. Richard attended the local schools and graduated from Hancock High School in 1960. He was united in marriage to Barbara Alatalo on June 8, 1963 and the couple resided in Hubbell where they operated Dick's Body Shop and the couple celebrated their fiftieth wedding anniversary last year. Richard loved working on cars, camping and going to the casino. Preceding him death were his parents. Surviving are his wife, Barbara, two sons, Leroy (Dorene) of Hubbell, Patrick (Kaye) of Cadillac, MI, a daughter, Victoria (Kelvin) Allison of Porter, TX and five grandchildren, Brittany, Brandon, Bradley, Jordan and Douglas. The funeral service for Mr. Bonds will be held on Tuesday at 7PM in the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home in Hancock with Pastor Terry Morrison officiating. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
