Richard Emmerling

Chassell Richard (Dick) A. Emmerling Sr., of Chassell, passed away March 14, 2020, after a short battle with cancer. He was born on May 31,1939 to Art and Catherine Emmerling of Racine, Wi. Richard served in the United States Air Force. He loved to do woodworking, going hunting and fishing, dancing, and spending time with his family. Surviving Richard are his loving Wife of 41 years, Ann Emmerling; a sister Sharron (Joe) Stone; his children Catherine (Darrell) Keller, Carol Emmerling, Chris (Mary) Emmerling, Sandra (Emmerling) Bentley, Richard (Fran) Emmerling, Keith(Mairon) Kangas, Mark (Rachael) Kangas, Leilani (Bill) Harrington, and son-in-law Stacy Bentley, along with numerous grand and great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Art and Catherine Emmerling; an infant sister, Sandra J. Emmerling. There will be a Celebration of Richards Life on August 8, 2020, at 1 p.m. at 21225 creamery Road Chassell, Mi. 49916. Please come help us celebrate and bring your memories and stories to share.
