Obituary of Robert Vitton HancockBob Vitton, 65, a resident of Hancock Michigan passed away in Phoenix, Arizona on July 25, surrounded by his children and special family friend, Meg Gardner.Bob was born and raised in Hancock, MI, and was a graduate of Hancock Central High School. He worked in the construction industry for the majority of his life, and operated his own company, R Vitton Paving, at the end of his career.Above all, Bob loved the Upper Peninsula and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved to fly his airplane, boat, fish, hunt and also enjoyed metal detecting, photography and tinkering with equipment on his farm.Preceding Bob in death were his parents, Peter and Betty Vitton.Bob is survived by his daughter Katie Wakeham (Vitton) of Phoenix, Arizona and son Robert Vitton of Los Angeles, California, as well as his sister Carrie Cunnyngham, brother Jim Vitton, and many nieces and nephews.A celebration of Bob's life is scheduled for Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Memorial Chapel & Plowe Funeral home located at 1017 W.
