Obituary of Ronald Gene Hatcher Ripley Ronald G. Hatcher, 60, a resident of Ripley and formerly of Kenosha, WI, passed away Thursday October 23, 2008, at the Marquette General Hospital shortly after being admitted. He was born on February 28,1948, in Maryville, TN a son of the late Louis Hatcher and Elizabeth (Murr) Hatcher. As a child, he attended the local school. On July 1, 1976 he was united in marriage to the former Mary Margaret Herres. He has resided in Wisconsin in Bristol, and Kenosha until moving to Ripley this past August. Ronald had worked as a machinist at Eaton Dynamatic in Kenosha since 1967 and then as a maintenance man /security man in Kenosha until last July when his health forced his retirement. He was a member of Machinist Union IAM # 24 and the County Fair Place in Kenosaha, and a former member of the Moose Lodge. Ron enjoyed the outdoors hunting fishing and was a kind & giving man his whole life even until the end when he donate his organ's to help another person. Preceeded by his father and a brother Daryl grandson Jonathon Surviving are: His Wife Mary of Ripley. Children: Richard (Elizabeth) Nielsen of Springfield, Virgina John (Lisa) Nielsen of Virgina Beach, Virgina Christine Hatcher of Illinois Mary (Tim) Boutin of McHenry, Illinois Grandchildren: Joseph, Robert, April, Kathryn, Sara, Amber , Vicki, & Christopher Brother: Bobby (Marie) Hatcher of Wilmott, WI Several nieces, nephews, and cousins A memorial service for Ronald will be held 2 pm Friday October 31, 2008, at the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Hancock with to officiate. Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery of Houghton . Friends may call on Friday from 1 pm until of of services at the funeral home.
