Obituary of Rosa Anderson ELO, Rosa Magdoline Anderson, 89, of Elo, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2010 at the Winona House in Portage Pointe where she has resided since January of 2007.She was born on June 23, 1921 in Trimountain, a daughter to the late Emil & Ruusa (Kokkonen) Narhi & attended the Doelle School. On October 17, 1951 she was united in marriage to Archie Anderson in Calumet. They moved to Westland in 1951 and returned to Elo in 1980. Her husband preceded her in death on November 24, 1998. She was also preceded in death by a granddaughter - Kirsti Rose Anderson, 5 brothers - Uno, Eino, Robert and infant brothers - Arvid John 9 sisters - Pearl, Martha, Johanna, Ida, Helen, Hilda, Nellie, Elsie & Irene.Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Pelkie Laestadian Lutheran Church.Surviving are: 3 sons - Andrew (Mary) of Greenfield, MN; Mathew (Gladys) of Tapiola, Joseph (Eva) of Buffalo, MN;2 daughters - Maria (Joseph) Moore of Calumet & Adelle Laho of Hancock;She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, numerous nieces & nephews.Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at the Laestadian Lutheran Church in Pelkie with Pastor James Frantti to officiate.Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church.Spring burial will be in the Elo Cemetery.To view Rosa's obituary or to send condolences to the family please visit www.memorialchapel.net.The Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Hancock has been assisting the family with the arrangements.Service Information To send flowers to the family of Rosa Anderson, please visit Tribute Store
