Sandra L. Patana, 83, a former Copper Country resident, passed away on Tuesday, June 3, 2025, at Gulf Side Hospice in New Port Richey, FL, following a lengthy illness.
She was born on September 3, 1941, in Houghton, MI, a daughter of the late Werner and Helmi (Toumisto) Pihlaja.
On June 16, 1962, she was united in marriage to Richard "Dick" Patana and he preceded her in death on September 8, 2003.
surviving are her children, grandchildren, siblings and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
A graveside service for Sandy will be held 1:00 pm Sunday, August 10, 2025, in the Oskar Cemetery with PAstor Ernest Bylkas III to officate.
