Obituary of Scott James Huhta Dodgeville/Twin Lakes Scott J. Huhta, 44, a resident of Dodgeville & Twin Lakes, passed away Sunday April 6, 2014, at his parent's home in Twin Lakes. He was born on August 29, 1969 in in Hancock, MI, a son of Clifford and Shirley (Johnson) Huhta. Scott was raised in Twin Lakes. He attended the Winona School and was a graduate of the Jeffers High School with the class of 1987. He then attended Michigan Technological University and Northern Michigan University. Mr. Huhta was employed with several local businesses but recently was employed with Walmart in Houghton where he was a customer service manager. Scott enjoyed the outdoors hunting and fishing, listening to music, watching movies and playing bingo with his mother. He also loved to spend time with children and animals. Preceding him in death were his maternal and paternal grandparents. Surviving are: His parents: Clifford Sr. and Shirley Huhta of Twin Lakes His brothers: Clifford Jr. (Janet) Huhta and their children Donny, Nancy, Lola and Calleigh of Ortonville, MI Alan (Christina) Huhta and their children Amanda and Damion of Dodgeville His sister: Casie Huhta of Painesdale A special aunt and friend Teri (Scott) Holman and their daughter Madisyn of Canton, MI Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services for Scott will be held 6 pm Thursday April 10, 2014, at the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Hancock with Rev. Bucky Beach to officiate. Spring burial will be in the Mt. View Cemetery of South Range. Friends may call on Thursday April 10, 2014, from 5 pm until time of services Thursday at the Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Hancock.
