Sharon M. Berryman, 79, a resident of Hancock passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024, at Marshfield–Dickinson Hospital following a lengthy illness.

She was born on January 11, 1945, in Hancock, a daughter of the late Francis and Linda (Ollikainen) Destrampe.  Sharon was raised in Dodgeville and resided in White Pine.  For the past 53 years, she has resided in Hancock.

On April 26, 1980, Sharon was united in marriage to Gordon Berryman and on September 4, 2013, he preceded her in death.

Sharon enjoyed working in her flower gardens and stenciling projects around her home.

Preceding Sharon in death were her parents, her husband, her son Scott Congdon, her granddaughter Sharon Puuri, her sister Donna Pyykkonen and her brother Francis Destrampe.

Surviving are: Her children: Darrell (Cherese) Congdon of Iron Mountian, MI, Linda (Michael) Williamson of Mt. Pleasant, MI, & Carole (Steven) Partanen of Ishpeming; 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great-grandchildren; Her sister: Barbara Joupperi of Atlantic Mine; Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A time to remember Sharon will be held Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 12 noon until 2:00 pm at the Memorial Chapel Funeral & Cremation Service Hancock Chapel.  Burial will be held in the Atlantic Mine Cemetery.
