Shirley Sheehan (Sorvisto)

Toivola/Estero, FL Shirley Sheehan, 83, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 21, 2020, in Ft, Meyers, FL. She was born on May 12, 1937, to the late Emil and Margaret Sorvisto. Shirley was a graduate of Hancock Central High School. Preceding her in death were her husband Norbert Sheehan, her parents Emil and Margaret Sorvisto and her brother William Bill Sorvisto. She is survived by her children: Gary North of Dayton, OH, Gene (Lori Ann) North of Wellston, MI and Glenn (Laura) North of Atlantic Mine. She is also survived by her siblings Diane (Charles) Roberts of St. Michael, MN Sandra (James) Witting of Chassell, Susan Bailey of Pikeville, NC and Dennis (Lynn) Sorvisto of Laurium plus 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A graveside service for Shirley will be held at the Forest Hill Cemetery of Houghton in the summer of 2021.
