It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love. Family and friends now
must say goodbye to their beloved Susan Karpinen – from Ontonagon, Michigan.
Susan passed away at the age of 70, on March 20th , 2023 after a lengthily battle
with cancer. Family and friends can send flowers and/or light a candle as a loving

She was predeceased by her parents, Kenneth & Ruth (Bammert) Karpinen from
Madison Heights, MI and her cherished younger sister, Nancy Karpinen of
Houghton.

She is survived by her sister, Sharon Wall (Lawrence) of Houghton, and her
brothers, Robert Karpinen of Rochester Hills & Steven Karpinen (Amy) of Troy,
along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Susan was an avid reader who loved spending time outdoors.

A private family graveside service was held in the Mt. View Cemetery in South Range.

The Memorial Chapel Funeral & Cremation Service is assisting the family with the arrangements.
